How Coyote Jack's Was Born?

Coyote Jack's Bar & Grill has a rich history rooted in the passion and resilience of its founder, Kanthasamy. Born in Sri Lanka, Kanthasamy's early life was marked by the country's civil war, which led him to leave home at around 15 years old. Seeking safety, he moved to France with his older brother. It was there that Kanthasamy's journey in the culinary world began, starting from the bottom by washing dishes in restaurants.

 

His dedication and talent quickly became apparent, leading to a chef's encouragement to pursue formal culinary training in France.​Kanthasamy's culinary passion was also influenced by his childhood experiences. His younger years were spent watching his mother and grandparents cook, which instilled in him a deep love for the culinary arts.

 

This early exposure played a significant role in shaping his career.​ After 13 years of honing his skills in France, Kanthasamy moved to Canada in 2002. He worked in different restaurants before realizing his dream of opening his own restaurant. In 2008, Coyote Jack's Bar & Grill was born. Kanthasamy’s love for cooking, inspired by his early life and training, has been the driving force behind his 20-25 year career.​Today,

 

Coyote Jack's has served over 1000,000 customers and continues to grow, with a strong base of repeat patrons. The restaurant remains a testament to Kanthasamy's dedication and passion for the culinary arts.​

 

Recently, Chef Kanga joined Coyote Jack's to elevate the restaurant's offerings. With a wealth of European culinary experience, Chef Kanga brings a fresh perspective and a passion for cooking that complements Kanthasamy's vision. His dedication to crafting delightful dishes and his joy in seeing customers smile add a new dimension to the dining experience at Coyote Jack's.
